Administrators can upload documents such as contracts, payroll information or other relevant files and make them available to employees if needed. This allows you to manage all employee documents centrally and securely.
Which file formats can be uploaded?
All common file formats can be uploaded to the digital employee file in absence.io, including PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PNG and JPEG. This enables flexible employee document management for contracts, payroll records and other important HR documents. If you would like to upload a specific file format that is not currently supported, please contact our support team to find an individual solution.
Can employees enter their own data?
Yes and no. In the digital employee file in absence.io, employees can enter and update their personal information themselves. Administrators or HR managers can send digital employee questionnaires that employees complete and return directly within absence.io. The responsible HR team can then review and approve the data. These features encourage employee self-service and help keep employee records up to date.
Can payroll documents be made visible to employees?
Yes, payroll documents can be shared with employees through the digital employee file in absence.io. Administrators can upload payroll documents and define visibility settings for each employee individually. Employees can then securely access their payroll records directly in their profile.
Is there access for external accountants or tax advisors?
Yes, absence.io allows you to grant external partners such as accountants or tax advisors access to specific reports and employee records. By default, only account owners have automatic access to sensitive reports. However, account owners can grant additional permissions to other users. Depending on their assigned role, these users can only access reports for specific employee groups. Alternatively, relevant data can be exported and securely shared with external partners.
